To my eye, Wigan are head, shoulders, knees and toes above any other club in Super League, be it men, women or yoof.

Should they join the NRL?

Or, if that is logistically impossible and/or undesirable, should there be competitive games between Wigan (and perhaps a select few others) and NRL clubs? Perhaps as part of an 'NRL Europe' conference.

(This would exclude the glorified, out-of-NRL-season friendly that is the World Club Challenge).

I'm fairly sure we're about to see NRL Europe anyway. What you are suggesting sounds dangerously close to P&R which would solidify SL as a second tier to the NRL.

When we had the club competition between SL and the aussie SL, it showed the real standard of our clubs,  the world club challenge is a one off game, with their present squad I doubt they would make the eight.

Wigans salary cap is about 1/3rd of the NRL salary cap.

No. Even ignoring the logistics and costs involved I think the novelty of something like this would soon wear off with fans. Keep such cross hemisphere matches as the pinnacle and elevate the World Club Challenge into being something better.

With wigans current side they would be bottom 6 over there but a club like Wigan and there set up with a bigger cap would soon move up. Although changing leagues is just silly

Wigan probably shouldn't join the NRL as they'd go over and win it too often and the noise from the Aussies would reach cacophony levels and eventually reach these shores much like living within a mile of a motorway where the noise reaches a constant din

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Give over. It's 20 years since they were nearly relegated and broke the salary cap and other dodgy stuff to survive. 🤔

I know, but we can only judge off today's squads, top sides over here can still win when off form its more consistent over there. Wigan has a top production line of talent but don't Penrith have more juniors than, wigan, saints,Warrington, leigh and widnes combined.

True. Plus Frank Endacot, Brian Noble and more. Its almost as if under Danson ownership and Radlinski management it has matured into a properly and professionally run organisation after thankfully  being saved by Dave Whelan. That does not necessarily translate to a successful, invincible  team but it sure lays the foundations for one .

Q: When will we know that 14 clubs is working for Super League?

A. Before we can answer that, we need to know what the move was meant to achieve. Seemingly, no one knows,

Would suggest they need to go over now to start prepping.

What time will the supporters bus leave when they play NZ Warriors away ?

I think the time difference they actually have to set off after the match has already finished or something like that.
