Looking at the way lots of teams in the six are resting vast amounts of their squads, is it just wigan picking up the LLS and Leigh and Wakefield fighting over a home play against each other.

I'd say that realistically Leigh and Wakefield aren't even fighting over a home play off, given the points difference. I do wonder if P&R was in place, and I'm not saying it should be, whether Sky would be picking York- Bradford as a main pick.

No challenges from me on that. Relegation battles are great and extremely emotional events.

Hoping Leigh really go for it against Wakey but with the Wigan and Leeds games being the main picks, Sky may have got it wrong with the Leeds game.

Well Wakefield picking the strongest squad available would suggest that they see the game as anything other than a forgone conclusion.  Real tough encounter expected.

With the combo of Moore and Kendall running the show once again at the LSV that wall just got another foot higher.

I think it will be a good game. But a 28 point Leigh win just isn't very likely. To be honest, while Leigh have picked the same 21 man squad as last week, I would expect one or two changes to the 17, more to give players coming in a run out, rather than resting anyone.

I do wish we'd take every game seriously. Far too often we are resting players in what should be the biggest games of the year.

It also happens in football too, so I get it, but I dont have to like it.

I think Wakefield overtaking Wire is more likely: It's a 37 points difference gap, and Wire have picked a very weak side to take on Toulouse...!!

Obviously that woud be very amusing, but no in the real world I think the top 6 is set. Sometimes that happens in sport, indeed if we were running "top of the league is the champion" the top of the table would often be pretty dull for the last 2 or 3 weeks of a season at least.

Relegation battles are fun for third party viewers, but in a sport with few resources (and rarely stronger clubs to come up) we really can't afford the downside risks - and associated short-term thinking - that it brings.

Nobody would be thanking either Peters or Burgess for running a full side this weekend, and then losing the play off match at the Halliwell Jones next weekend.

I'm a fan of not trying to be too clever.

We wouldn't lose because we run a full team.

Far too often we are seeing this now, we make mugs of fans, media and sponsors.

Have you done the analysis which shows that teams have a better play off win ratio after they rest players in the final round? It would be interesting.

On a positive note ..  at least they're all on at the same time so I/We/You won't have to watch them bar your own team 👍

I think with the extra game in the last month our two clubs need to manage their squads more than most to be fair

No, but I know Rovers looked shattered against Toulouse but were a different side against Huddersfield. We’ve a small squad - or at least Peters picks as if we did - so they need more a rest than most.

Warrington clear favourites in the play off anyway, so it’s not like people will blame Willie if we still lose
