At least St Helen’s supporters will be able to finish their worst season in 60 years on a positive note!

No score draw.

[Josef K]

I am determined not to look at the clock on Friday, it’s one of the worst things to do.

The bookies reckon it will be 34 points, if anything I think they're underpricing it

[Just Browny]

Good to see the big Geordie, Sam Luckley, still in the squad. Hopefully his years of experience fervently supporting Newcastle United will have a positive influence on the younger guys. And hopefully Mikey will resist the urge to break anyone's foot.

Can the Hull KR players not play consecutive weeks anymore? Didn't they all have a rest 2 weeks ago?

It seems that Willie Peters has finally listened to the fans and realised that squad rotation helps keep players fresh.

Over the last couple of years, he hasn't needed to do it as their squad has been very fortunate with injuries.

Mikey Lewis back tonight, apparently he has "grown up" so we'll see how that goes.

[Futtocks]

A farewell to Johnny Lomax and Mark Percival. Two fine players and dedicated clubmen who have been through a lot for Saints.

[OldRedEyes]

Proud of these lads tonight.

The future is okay.

Big argument that we could have rotated the squad more throughout this season and retained the freshness.

WP will go down as a Rovers legend, but I’m looking forward to the new era and more squad rotation.

Someone's clearly read the script tonight.

[bratman]

Wow great try!!

[sam4731]

10 minutes left of his career and Lomax is still barking orders at his teammates.

Sums up the guy perfectly.

[Futtocks]

Saints have just cut loose and trampled KR!

[OldRedEyes]

Proud of the 17 tonight.

Leyland will be a revelation next season with regular game time.

Dearlove and Horne are ready for a dozen games next season.

Paddy - very promising

The Rovers team tonight can be really proud of their efforts tonight and I thought the scoreline was a bit flattering to Saints tonight. Hopefully some of these players like Wainhouse, Woods, Horne and Gorman will get more regular first team exposure next year.

Good to see Bill Leyland have a good run out - after Good Friday still a Saints legend

When you've played every game possible for two years and won the lot a you deserve a couple of games off

[Josef K]

I don’t know if Cross got a hat trick for Saints last night because according to the club he went over on after 54mins, the SL site said 62mins, BBC 64 mins. The crazy world of RL.
