Hurricanes appearance records

[HurricanesSC]

As the season comes to a close, I've started looking at the "final stats". One that sticks out is that the top 7 appearance records for the Canes shows just how great we've been in improving the consistency of our squad (bold being current players):

Hayden Freeman - 115 (2016-2023)
Chris Barratt - 106 (2015 - 2019)
Jason Bass - 88 (2015-2018, 2023-2024)
James Geurtjens - 84 (2015-2018)
Todd Horner - 78 (2023 - )
Tom Wilkinson - 77 (2022, 2023 - )
Jon-Luke Kirby - 76 (2023 - )

Horner and JLK are both contracted until 2028 (Wilko until the end of 2027). Horner is only 22 and Wilko is only 24, with "old man" Kirby at 27.

Feels like we could see all three eclipse 100 appearances by the end of next season and potentially all three eclipsing Freeman's appearance record in 2028 assuming Wilko re-signs. Long-term who knows; we might see Horner be our first ever "one-club man" from debut to retirement.

Some others not far behind either, like Johnson (on 69 appearances - nice) and Chrimes (on 60), who are also both contracted until the end of 2028.
