Toughest call for many a season, which is really positive and encouraging. Purcell would have been right up there if he’d been ok to stay. JD a game changer and leader. Wildie Mr Consistent and a leader. Milner shirked nothing and gave his all, as did Brad Day. Walker was exciting and consistent after his first couple of games. Nisbet has been brilliant. Bobby has been tough. Ben O’Keefe the most improved player for me. Matty Ashurst has been consistently excellent and a high try scorer. Farnworth has been a monster in the forwards. But for me, it’s Ted. Amazing go forward after contact; never backs off. We’re always better when he’s on the pitch. Tough call but he’s my man.

Ted could easily have won all three seasons he's been with the club. He's the best prop outside Super League for me. I've got him just in front of Ashurst and Farnworth. Think Purcell would have been up there without the injury. Day has been superb.

Just trying to work out who Bobby was, until I realised you probably meant Bibby 😜

Jack Walker just edges it for me.

Both props have been incredible, given that Dutson never materialised, Makin got sent back and Ormondroyd farmed out. Remember games when we named one prop in the seventeen. Amazing effort to keep it going and to maintain such a high level.

I'll choose Josh Drinkwater.

For his kicking, his ability to 'read & control' our play anywhere on the field, his reliability and total involvement for 80 minutes.

Josh Drinkwater, hey ?

And what about his 'golden point' kickoff against Widnes ??????

Man of the season right there, in my opinion !

Can't argue with JD, but why Allan Coleman? Killshaw deserves it for the way he kept the team together and took us to joint second in the league behind two full time clubs.

1895 Cup Final and 5th place finish, the article says.

I think that maybe it was because Killer wasnt instrumental in the initial formation of the squad. It was established by tge gime he came on board.

Josh Drinkwater shortlisted for Championship Player of the Year alongside Robinson of Doncaster and Voro of London, voted by the coaches. Allan Coleman of Widnes Coach of the Year.

Think Voro will get it

Coleman is a strange one, I always like to look at which coach has made most progress with their resources and would say Dunning at Midlands deserves a shout
