Saw a lot posted about Amelia Brown posted this past week with people believing she should be picked because of the tries she has scored.

Honestly though where does she get in the team? We know she can do it against the poorer teams in SL, that is not in question but she's a bit quiet against the better teams. Hard to pick her really.

And we won't know until she's tested, which means Huddersfield massively improve, or she moves.

And we know that Huddersfield are not going to improve any time soon. After all the hype about them contracting players, they really have done very little to look to kick on. I get the feeling they are just happy to be scooping up the players that are not wanted by Leeds and York, knowing that is enough to keep them around that 5th position in the long term. How many junior girls clubs are in Huddersfield? If they really were serious they would be spending some more time looking how they could look to improve that situation.

As for Amelia if she had any ambitions of playing for England she would have made a move to a top club long before now and it looks like she is happy been the big fish in a small pond. I am really hoping that Molly Iceton does not end up with that same mentality and she gets the chance to show if she can fulfil her potential playing at a big club.

I remember speaking to a couple of their players and I mentioned that it will be better now their at least getting a little bit of money, the puzzled looks said it all. It does make me wonder where all their gate takings and sponsorship money goes to, it should certainly be enough to be able to offer the players something.
