Go back almost 20 years and the National Rugby League was not the National Rugby League but the NSWRL. Like all successful things it evolved. Added to the NSW competition were 3 teams in Queensland, a team in Melbourne and a team in New Zealand. The Gold Coast Titans were the last team added to the NRL back in 2007.
