Hull FC will be without captain Gareth Ellis and star fullback Jamie Shaul for the trip to Salford this Saturday, after both were not risked for the trip across the Pennines to face the winless Red Devils.
The absence of Shaul means a recall for Australian Jordan Rankin, who is in line to make his first appearance of 2015 at fullback instead of Shaul.
The other change to the squad sees Dean Hadley come into the 19, whilst Setaimata Sa and Fetuli Talanoa are in after missing out on Hull’s first home game of the season against Warrington two weeks ago.
Hull FC 19-man Squad: Bowden, Cunningham, Green, Hadley, Houghton, Lineham, Minichiello, Paea, Paleaaesina, Pryce, Rankin, Sa, Sneyd, Talanoa, Thompson, Watts, Westerman, Whiting, Yeaman
Meanwhile, Salford welcome back Junior Sa’u into the fold for the first time in 2015. Kevin Locke is not included, nor is Michael Dobson. That has led to a potential debut for Liam Hood, who has been named in Iestyn Harris’ 19-man squad.
Salford 19-man squad: Caton-Brown, Chase, Evalds, Fages, D Griffin, G Griffin, Hansen, Hauraki, Hood, Johnson, Lee, Morley, Sa’u, Tasi, Taylor, A Walne, J Walne, Walton.
