Anderson on the lookout for recruits

Paul Anderson has admitted Huddersfield are searching for new recruits, but they are in no rush to bring anyone in.

Rumours that the Giants may look to reinforce their squad have intensified since Brett Ferres was sold to Leeds Rhinos last week, although no evident replacement is currently on the market.

Although Anderson was reluctant to comment on speculation, he admitted that the club was scouring the globe for new recruits.

“My job as head coach is to always look to improve and strengthen this squad,” he said.

“We’re always looking at how we can freshen it up, improve it and what areas we are light in or too thick and heavy.

“We’re always on the lookout for new players, but we aren’t rushing to bring anybody in”
