Catalans cruise into the quarter-finals following Batley victory

Catalans Dragons returned to winning ways with a convincing 40-4 victory over a valiant Batley.

Despite a superb first-half effort, Batley trailed 12-0 at half-time following tries through Fouad Yaha and Vincent Duport.

Having played up the famous Batley hill in the first half, the Dragons ran riot in the second-half. Duport got a second before Richie Myler, Dave Taylor and Tony Gigot (2) saw Catalans comfortably make the last eight, although Batley winger Alex Brown got a consolation try 15 minutes from time.
