Last week, Kevin Sinfield was announced as a surprise nominee for the 2015 Sports Personality of the Year award.
However, the former Leeds Rhinos captain has now surfaced as one of the favourites to win the prestigious award, and is currently third favourite with the bookies to win the famous trophy behind Andy Murray and Jessica Ennis-Hill.
Sinfield’s odds have plummeted from 100/1 down to 10/1, with the bookies expected to slash those odds again as backing for Sir Kev increases.
And there’s little wondering why so many people are getting behind the legendary Rugby League star when Leeds Rhinos continue to release inspiring videos like this.
