Steve,I take it you mean the way the fixtures have been structured York are favored with playing southern teams home and away.I thougth there would be winners and losers with such a format of fixtures. It seems the RFL tried to make it a close battle for promotion which they have achieved
The problem seems to be that the Southern teams should be in a separate league.
I thought Andy did really well for us when he came in at center last season. He always looked to offload in the tackle and keep the ball alive. When he went missing I thought it was Leiigh`s reaction to either John Roddy joining our board or John Duffy becoming our coach, but it appears there is another reason which has not been made clear.
Marshy1,I understand the BOD`s difficulties with the change in personnel after the Barrow game, but could someone in the posted the fact that Leigh had recalled their loan players - reason unknown! The team announcements at Sedgley Park cannot be herd on the half way line so we had no idea of who number 22 was when he entered the pitch as a substitute.Again it would be nice to have known before match day that Ryan Maneely was in the squad. These are minor problems compared with keeping the club iexistencece but every little helps.
I cannot understand why Salford want Watto now,at this moment in time,Why the urgency to have him now ?
Salford are not likely to be in the top eight or in danger of relegation and Watto`s appointment of only Assistant Coach is hardly likely to have any immediate impact on player performance. He main role seems to be with the U19`s.
Surely this appointment could have been completed at the end of this season.
Maybe I`m being cynical here but do Salford want us to fail in avoiding the drop?
