Good job you don't want fev in SL there is no chance of that! !

Actually the profit was £10,046, according to the accounts lodged at Companies House, which are open to all to view.

And well done to the club.

But the club still has the liabilities that I referred to earlier in this thread. There is nothing inconsistent in making a profit but also having significant liabilities, as any accountant will tell you.

The club has been very well run over the last five years, which I fully acknowledge, and the main hope for everybody is that it continues to be so.

Martyn, all clubs have liabilities. Featherstones are pretty insignificant when compared to the likes of Wigan, St. Helens, hull etc yet there is no talk of impeding doom from you about any other clubs. I'm sure featherstone will face struggles along the way just like pretty much any other club, maybe like the long list of clubs already in super league.

#2865871 Any news?

I think the main argument was about how the funding is shared out

yes I think that's why the Wigan chairman is upset he didn't want to share it out

I've reached the stage where I don't care any longer about what they've agreed on so long as they've agreed on SOMETHING!!!!

i wonder if any voted against

The Sky money in 2012 was advanced by a month, I think two months maximum. By the end of 2012 in terms of Sky money Bradford had had no more and no less than any other Super League club. Not sure why so many people have a problem understanding that.

The club isn't paying any money back to the RFL for Odsal, because no such arrangement exists. It wasn't a loan, they bought the lease. If the current (or future) board want to buy it back then the RFL may well want to talk, but the reason the RFL took over the lease in the first place was not just financial, but to protect the sport being played at the stadium. I believe the RFL were reluctant to give the lease back to anyone new taking over straight away for the reason that people might want to take over the club just for the land rather than the interest of the sport in the city.

can you actually back up what you say was advanced to the club because I don't recall any actual figures being mentioned, if they have withheld 1.6 million I would guess that the commitments to the bulls would do been a similar figure

#2745410 more investment at featherstone

Nice to see they have already invested in a centre of excellence for developing stars of the future, sounds like fev will be playing at the top level in the not too distant future. A club doing it properly from the bottom up
