In cross county challenge cup finals since 2005, it's Lancashire 7 Yorkshire 0, so you can shove your white rose where the sun doesn't shine! !!!!!!!!!!

Bet you can't wait to get back to school can you - assuming you're old enough, because that post is pure juvenille toy throwing - don't lean out too far your pram might fall over.

jeopardy is a danger of losing something not winning it, but nonetheless when will it happen? 'Whether' sounds a little indefinite to me. Jeopardy is the foundation of this change in the structure of the sport. IMHO we need something a little more tangible than that, especially considering the(frankly bogus) claims that you and others have made for it in the past. You and others were given chapter and verse that this was a myth.

One would have thought if the truth rather than self interest, prom and

reg meant anything to you then you(and others) would have at least retained a little of the knowledge that people went to a great deal of trouble and effort to provide you with. Ah well

'Bogus claims' so you are calling anyone who disagrees with your stilted view a liar. Since when did you become lord god almighty at RLHQ?

In Topic: Marwan Koukash: I'll turn rugby league into a global sport

21 July 2014 - 04:47 AM

Marwan Koukash is prepared to shift to Australia to realise his dream of owning an NRL club, claiming he can help transform rugby league into a truly international game.

Koukash owns the Salford Red Devils, saving them from financial ruin, and is keen to add an Australian club to his portfolio. The British billionaire has been linked to Newcastle but refused to confirm which NRL clubs he is negotiating with.

The man whose net worth is estimated at $3 billion revealed he is in negotiations to stage a nines tournament, featuring NRL and Super League clubs, in Dubai. However, his priority is to take a stake of an Australian franchise, preferably as a sole owner.

"There are plenty of advantages in being involved on both sides of the world. It would help to globalise the sport," Koukash said from Dubai.

"My family absolutely adore being in Australia. We did start talking about the possibility of moving over to Australia," he said.

"Some people say I'm more Australian than Australians. I love it, that way of life suits me very well.

He certainly grabs the medias attention.

Hope he locks the door behind him. Frankly I am sick of him gobbing off, Australia is welcome to him as long as he stays there.

No bouncing back.  The salary cap gulf is far far too wide.  Unless one of the 12 SL clubs goes into total meltdown - very hard to envisage given the riches heading their way from the new TV deal - or you get a fluke result in the 4th vs 5th match, that's your SL 12 fixed now for the foreseeable future.

My friend is a Bulls fan, we spoke before todatys game and he was very pessimistic about what the future holds for the club, in his own opinion he thinks they will fold. I do hope he is very wrong.
