For me we need to certainly persist with the exiles contest, the exiles have proved more then competitive for England which unfourtantly no other European side can at the moment but the Way the exiles games have been treated the last couple of years hasn't been good enough there's good potential in this fixture with the exiles brand and like I say gives England a quality opposition To play apart from the kiwis and Aussies. There shoudnt be a need to decide wether we play a France or a exiles we should be playing both

They should have the Magic Weekend in London and use Etihad for a Challenge Cup Semi Final double header.
London needs lots of big events to pull in the fans. The Broncos won't bring that in their current situation. It's a competitive market down there for entertainment. The Magic Weekend could be just up their street.
Exactly what I was thinking could use emeriates stadium? And the challenge cup would be boosted by a double header semi could make it into an real event

people keep "bringing it up" because it is a fact.
Surely someone of your intelligence can realise that a part time team from another country having to travel every other week was going to struggle and totally diffrent to been a full time outfit again see Catalans who are very successfull. The toulose players could earn the same or more by playing in the French league rather then playing for toulose then there's the fact of the travel these players would work all day all week and then train on a night few nights a week and have to travel. It's like asking batley or someone to go and play in the French league just isn't going to work but it was tried and tested dint quite work but a full time toulose playing super league is totally diffrent to a part time team in the championship

The WRL are allegedly talking to additional investors, although I've heard nothing more since the week before last.
Until that is settled unfortunately everythings in limbo...
Today's showings from Seamark and White were very poor...
Hopefully something gets sorted coz the scorpions are a good little club that have been quite successfull considering there a new club in its early years and have based the team around mainly welsh players.
For Wales lets not forget that alot of there players are welsh born n bred and developed but alot of the squad is made up of part time players aswell was always going to be difficult espcially without briers, the key now is to continue with the development of players working with clubs like the Wigan link on getting some of the young players signed up with super league clubs. Crusaders are doing really well and hopefully that continues, something has to be done regarding scorpions and there are already an mid table competitive and we should be working towards getting a New South Wales club in the championship within a couple of years or so.
Just finished watching this one, even more enjoyable than yesterday's match. Probably because I wanted USA to win, who I thought were very organised and committed. That try by their captain was the best of the tournament so far for me. I have to say I'm very impressed with the handling in this game and throughout the tournament - you would've expected a knock-on-athon in these conditions.
One moan, I wish the weather would improve. Running rugby had been minimal because of the wind and rain.
But on the other hand maybe the weather is keeping the score lines a bit tighter which leads to the excitement
Whatever your thoughts on koukash he's transformed the club for the better and the fact that Salford are in hunt to try and sign him very unlikely but still for me shows huge growth and dosent harm anyone at all as he's already lived up to his word regarding signings. Futures looking good for Salford I just hope crowds are back up and they have a bit of success on the field.
The problem is that the Burgess clan only want to get involved within 10m of the tryline.
Westwood and Ferres outplayed all three of the sunshine kids pretty easily.
Westwood showed today he is a international class forward but the errors and ill discipline let him and the team down has to cut it out, ferres was solid all round and went alright but dint outshine the burgess clan as you say. Sam put in a very good performance not his best but was still very good and out performed ferres, George offerd great go forward good yards found his front all the time leaving markers on the floor allowing robes to get out and as soon as he went off and Tom came on the game changed.
I actually think the defeat against Italy and the disruption this week will help us, takes a bit of pressure and expectation off us. As for the team well be intresting to see if graham and mclorum do or don't play but as far as I or alot of other fans know is that they are available to play Saturday, think Steve mac will go with hall and Ablett on that right edge and will go with chase and kev as halfs personally would go diffrent but there's certainly some options available, like the idea of widdop and chase as halfs but sinfield does need to be on the pitch at all times possible rotation between 9 and 13.
My team would be
Think the rfl have got it spot on regarding the 3 big fixtures and the ticket sales so far prove that, so what if the opener isn't in England if I remember rightly its joint hosted by England and Wales anyway
