GOSSIP: Huddersfield win the race to land Gaskell

Huddersfield have won the race to sign Bradford talisman Lee Gaskell.

The 25-year-old has been courted by Hull FC, Leigh Centurions and the Giants all season, but made the decision to join the West Yorkshire side after being promised a regular spot at centre in place of Jake Connor, who is on his way to Hull FC. Gaskell is said to want to make the move to the backline to flourish with less responsibility and has been offered a lucrative long-term deal similar to Ryan Brierley.

Bulls team-mate Dale Ferguson has also put pen to paper with his former club, while Paul Clough was recently linked with the Giants.
