Wigan coach Shaun Wane says his team were “dumb” with the ball against Hull KR but is not concerned by their first defeat of the Super League season.
Hull KR railed late to edge the Warriors yesterday by two points, eight days after they were pipped 14-12 in extra-time in the World Club Series against Brisbane Broncos. Wigan drew with Widnes in the opening round of Super League and then beat Huddersfield 24-16.
“We were a little bit dumb with the ball but with the scraps we got we scored tries,” Wane told media after the game.
“So it’s simple, keep hold of the ball and we’ll score tries and win games.”
