Wigan Warriors prop Ben Flower has had his appeal against a one-match ban downgraded – meaning he is free to play for them in the Challenge Cup this weekend.
Warriors coach Shaun Wane confirmed on Wednesday that he would be heading to Red Hall to fight Flower’s case as the prop looked to have his suspension scrapped – and the club have been successful.
He had the charge downgraded to a Grade A and was issued with no ban and a £300 fine.
The RFL confirmed the news on Wednesday night, saying:
