New signing Todd Carney scored a try for the Dragons on his debut as the Catalans defeated a French Elite selection 58-16 today.
It was one of four pre-season matches played today, with Newcastle Thunder, playing under their new name for the first time, registering an impressive 36-10 victory over Dewsbury Rams at Kingston Park, confirming that, under head coach Stanley Gene, they will be strong contenders for promotion in the 2015 season.
