Danny Brough ready for tough run of fixtures

Huddersfield Giants captain Danny Brough insists he is ready to lead the club through their trickiest run of fixtures so far this season – starting with tomorrow night’s trip to St Helens.

Following on from their trip to Langtree Park, the Giants face Wigan and Leeds in their next two league games, but rather than be worried by the run of games, Brough is excited to see what his side can do on the biggest stage.

“If we play well and keep picking up the wins, it’ll definitely put us in a good position to challenge right at the top. It’ll also help us build on the momentum we’ve now picked up,” Brough said.

“We know the next few games present us with the toughest of challenges, starting at Saints tomorrow night. But everyone’s feeling really confident with the way things are progressing and we’re really excited about the matches we’ve got in front of us.

“Some may say they’re pretty daunting, but we can’t wait. With the improvements we’re now starting to make, we know we’ve put ourselves in a great position to make a positive move.”
