One of my new customers plays in the front row for Pia Donkeys.
Another of my customers was making a comeback off the bench yesterday at the Stade Jean Galia, Ile sur Tet.
Yet another of my customers stumped up the cash (well the company for which he was marketing boss did) for the Framing the Future report.
I'm so excited I might just burst, as tomorrow I hang up the apron for a couple of weeks and head off for Australia.

I'm snowed in again. Ventured out yesterday in a land rover and wound up in a ditch. Ouch. Sore shoulder today!

The Battle for Seattle album by Little Roy - a rather splendid Christmas present

I have spent most of today booking our holiday at the end of January to that there Australia. Two weeks in Queensland strolling down memory lane.
I supplied the air miles. Mrs Timtum supplied the money. Top division of resources.

Just thought I'd pop in and say hiya all.
And hiya to big George - hope all is well.
Got up this morning for market at 0430 to the sounds of deer going grunt in the field behind my house.
On the way to market narrowly missed squishing Mr Fox and then Mr Brock the Badger, followed by a narrow escape for a young doe.
Tonight on the way back from work it was midge time. I have never seen a display like it (must be the combination of big rain over the past few days followed by a hot day today), but there were massive clouds of the burgers hanging over the roads and fields. It was like driving through an asteroid storm.
Tampon the cat, I am sure you are all happy to hear, is currently contentedly snoozing on the sofa.

After twenty years I've been listening to some My Bloody Valentine - hasn't aged too badly at all.

Somebody told me why they were called egg banjos recently
I am also the holder of very many fried egg banjo medals over the years....

Not strictly speaking "listening to" at the mo, but cued up for tonight.
A very welcome return to David Quantick's Blaggers Guide.

Today it was too hot for my iPod touch record player thingy.

Last week I did what I think is the biggest journey between professional European rugby league towns. Wednesday afternoon I had a meeting in Workington (hadn't been back for years) and by Saturday I was in Perpignan for the Dragons v Hull game. Just outside Penrith I saw the Stobart lorry with Greg Mounis on the side.

I've just had coco pops for my breakfast.
Sometimes it is the little things that make life worth living.

....and a big welcome to Belvis and Chateau Timtum to Albi. He is a one eyed springer spaniel.
As fit as a sausage makers dog!
....and sadly a farewell to Albi today. Kidneys packed up the poor little sod.

I'm off to Edinburgh next week for a couple of days. Hanging up the butcher's apron and donning the ill fitting business suit.

Another eight inches of snow fell here last night, and it is forecast to carry on chucking it down for another three days. Merde.
At this rate I won't have worked for four weeks.
If you find any spare euros down the back of the sofa / in your turnups, please send them this way.

I've always had a soft spot for the Wedding Present, and while walking today I experienced the 6 minute magnificence of the outro to Take Me
-
Just taken the dog for a walk and stepped straight into a snow drift up to my arm pits. It took me a good five minutes to wriggle my way out.
