The link at the end of this post is to a set of comic strips I was sent. It's not an easy read and is most certainly not light-hearted being about abuse. Think carefully about whether you want to read it. http://www.christoph...om/memory-lane/

Got tickets to see Dead Can Dance in October at the Royal Albert Hall - excited doesn't even begin to describe it
-
one of the best rock songs ever, auperbly performed
Seen Jackson Browne a couple of times, highly recommended
-
Took the dogs up to Queensbury for a walk in the snow earlier - tons of it up there - abandoned cars and huge snowdrifts
-
A joke I spotted elsewhere:
A lot of snow up my end last night...

...
...but I suppose that's to be expected if you go to a party at Michael Barrymore's.
Wouldn't Stevie Nicks be more appropriate?

In my long gig-going career I've never seen a better front man.
On BBC iPlayer at the moment they have TOTP from 23/12/1976. Phil and the boys are on doing 'Don't Believe A Word'. As an added bonus they're on first so you don't have to bother with all the other shoite.
Saw Thin Lizzy on the Renegades tour at the Queens Hall in Leeds and Phil is way up there in the best front men ever

Harry Chapin. Cat's in the Cradle.
My daughter is 16 this month. I hope I did right for her.

Yours then?
Nope, ours is the blue, unlowered, one next to it
-
The lowered bus belongs to the bloke who persuaded us to head several miles out of our way then down a very pot-holed track in order to take some photos.

Sensational Alex Harvey Band - Next
This is just pure genius

Here is the guy who wrote and sang this originally
One of the few songs he has been bettered at but still a work of genius.
