  1. In my opinion and experience, Davies is invariable correct in his analysis. He is just the sort of person we need on our side. Kear and French. although great servants, observers and interpreters of the game also reinforce the stereotype. Davies and Balding break it.

Davies commands great respect amongst players and fans of both codes, which is why, I suspect, he is not liked by some on here, tha' knows, sithee!

    ;)

  2. It could lead to fans claiming the club were cashing in on the colour clash. When Bradford did their amber shirt in '97 they specifically didn't sell replicas for that reason.

Although a few lucky buggers managed to get them from the club as later on in that season at Warrington I was stood next to a group of Bulls fans and three of them had the Wembley 97 shirt on.

Which was just the same template as our home 1997 World Club Challenge shirt except it being Amber instead of white so the club didn't go to any real expenditure on the Amber kit.

  3. Interesting up to the point where he writes "Jonathan Davies's analysis is as astute as you will find in any commentary box anywhere. " Davies was a fanatstic player, but makes a lousy commentator, who appears to be completely out of touch with the modern game.

Mind you, Martin Kelner is a Swinton fan isn't he...

Watching the Leeds game back he does have a point and I would hope the BBC give the final to Woods and Kear.

  4. unless lightning strikes twice n we beat leeds

It's a shame we are playing at Knowsley Road (does the scoreboard have three digits? ) because I think your game will be a classic and I'm gutted I won't be able to see it as live.

Still you never know, we may just break the losing run a week today.

  5. TOP EIGHT! :D

Got to stay there now. :O

    Remaining fixtures:

8th Crusaders RL: Hull FC (A), St Helens (A), Hull KR (H). 22 points

    --------------------------------The----------------Play-Off----------------Line--------------------------------

    9th Castleford: Leeds (H), Harlequins (H), St Helens (A). 20 points

Both sides to play St Helens, and two both two tough home games in Hull KR and Leeds.

I think should the Crusaders win at the KC next Friday it's bye bye Castleford.

  6. Kath Hetherington must be the worst Chairperson in the whole of Super League. So who will lose his place Tom Briscoe? Wouldn't surprise me in the least with that BOD and coach at HullFC.

Agree and last year after watching the Hull Derby at the KC, I was shocked to see her at Odsal down by the tunnel with Gary "I want
