Huddersfield Giants 16-6 Crusaders RL after 40:00 minutes.
Defence masterclass from the Giants as they repel Crusaders attack after Crusaders attack.
Half-Time hooter goes, maybe the visitors should have taken the two points?

Huddersfield Giants 6-6 Crusaders RL after 32:00 minutes.
Maybe I was a bit harsh in my assessment of Huddersfield.
Their defending is impeccable, both sides defending has been professional but as I type Sammut has just picked up a loose pass from Kevin Brown and has raced away for a crucial interception try despite a valiant chase back by Cudjoe.
Clinton (don't ask me how I spell his surname) converts and it's all square six apiece.

Huddersfield Giants 0-0 Crusaders RL after 15:00 minutes.
Despite the announcement that Nathan Brown will be staying with the Giants next season, they don't look to be making the greatest of impressions.

He's going nowhere as they say.

2nd kiss of death.
Sam going, and Mick predicting a Wire win means a shock on the cards....
The Cas game is often a good one, and Cas have beaten us quite a few times over the years.
With us at full strength-ish, I expect us to have to much, but might only make it "safe" late on.
I'll be listening on merseyside.(Other option is GMR)
The greatest ever Warrington vs Castleford game was the one from 2008 when they came back from being 26-12 down sending Cullen to the dole cue.

I thought policing the ptb was the on-field ref's job, subsequent action only could be referred upstairs?
When did this change?
It changed last week.
See last weeks Bradford vs Hull FC game and last nights game at the Stoop.
-
Not given because Yeaman is offside - infront of the play the ball and got involved in the play
I am fed up of the commentators going on about the play the ball. It may seem that the refs are clamping down all of a sudden, but has anyone stopped to think that maybe the coaches of losing teams have complained to Cummings about it not being spotted and wanting it clamped down on - so maybe it's biting them back?
Good point, earlier on in one of the first sky games, Hull KR were away at Castleford and had a try referred to the video referee, who on looking at the incident saw that the play the ball wasn't played at all, but still gave the try.
I even quote Eddie Hemmings saying the following "well everyone gets away with it so the video referee had to give the try".

Paul Cooke penalty goal.
-
A trifling irrelevance dear boy, a mere bagatelle don't you know.
I think you'll find that if this game stays close and Wakefield only win by four points, that call will be very most relevant.
-
All that this proves is that when people say the ref should have seen it he was in a great position they are wrong.
I would have liked Sky to re-show that at full speed to show how it would appear from behind the line to Ganson.
Agree with that, the slow-mo did put Ganson at a disadvantage, but he was looking at straight at it.
These are 30k a year full time officials who shouldn't be making these errors.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats 10-6 Hull FC after 33:00 minutes.
-
Poor game if I'm honest as Paul Cooke misses a penalty shot at goal.
-
Rule books - how old-fashioned and quaint.
These boys like to make it up as they go along - you must have noticed?
But it shouldn't have been given mate.
-
I'm sorry Bill but when my arch nemesis makes a big boo boo, the world needs to know about it
-
I agree that Hull fans have every right to complain, but not shout obcenities. They should follow the lead of their players and coach.
I suggest this thread be locked before it becomes a referee bashing one
What's wrong with "you don't know what your doing" ????
-
I think you'll find that once Mr Cummings has had a look at it on Monday morning it'll have been the correct decision.
Well I hope the rule book is ammended then to say that you can just drop the ball over the line.
-
For the benefit of people who can't see the game, Paul Cooke crossed the line with Steve Ganson right in view of the grounding of the ball and he gives the try, when the replays showed it quite clear that Cooke had dropped the ball.
-
I think your smile may disappear.
Ruh-Roh.
It's worth it's own thread
Steve Ganson should not have given that try = FACT
