Radiohead play the smiths. Very good.

I should hate that cover of Wasted Years but I must admit it's refreshing and certainly demonstrates the good lyrics of the song.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers doing Something in the Air.

Greatest Hits - Simon & Garfunkel
Haven't listened to this for years. Not a duff song on it.
Can't think of a duff song they ever produced really.

Speaking of hidden tracks, I'd had an album 8 years without knowing there was a hidden track.
Blur's Think Tank, a very decent album with a few very good tracks, and if you rewind the cd from the very first track there is a full, mad song featuring Phil Daniels. I only found out thanks to the wonders of the internet this year.

Electronic - Getting Away with it
Nick Cave and PJ Harvey - Henry Lee

Been listening to Pale Blue Eyes by Velvet Underground.

Flaming Lips, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.
Perfect for nice weather.

Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run. Another £2 bargain vinyl from mine and Ullmans favourite 2nd hand shop. I prefer Springsteens earlier stuff before his huge commercial hits.
Easily one of my favourite albums. Not a bad moment on the whole album. Songs like Thunder Road, She's the One and Jungleland, just a different class to most other singer songwriters.

That was the year they breached the salary cap wasn't it? They brought in Fielden and Dobson mid way through a relegation scrap?
Let's be honest any half decent manager with the resources to bring in players like Richards and Fielden and call upon the kind of the kind of youth built up over the years Wigan have would be underperforming not to achieve something. The strength of the Wigan club is the big triumph here not the manager. They have international players and a youth system consistently strong for years on end, Noble has hardly performed miracles.

I love the way the work of Brian Noble is being ignored. He took Wigan from being a club right at the foot of SL and got them to withing inches of a GF. Without those foundations, Wigan would not have won yesterday. A GF win does not come about form one season, it comes about from years of dedication from a lot of people.
Noble was given a lot of resources and they actually cheated to stay up the season he came in.

In this case I think we need better refereeing. It was a final and some of the decisions Graham was livid over he had every right to be. I'm not saying the referee was biased because he wasn't and that would detract from a comprehensive Wigan victory, but this really needs to be addressed. Possession is everything in Rugby League.

You didn't go far enough!
4. Win games, by scoring more points than the opposition.
5. Win so many games, as to win more games than your rivals.
6. In the play offs, win all the games available until there are no more games left to play.
I feel with these tactics, clubs can soon learn from Wigan on how to succeed at the very highest level.

They should go with a bridesmaid motif next year.
