I can't see it happening when even the PNG Prime Minister says they are not ready? Port Moresby is one of the most dangerous cities in the world so NOBODY supporting the visitors will attend games.

AND now both John Bateman and George Williams are supposed to want to come back to Australia (according to Elliott Whitehead) - who in their right mind would have them? Hudson Young is infinitely superior to John Bateman, and both Jamal Fogarty and Brad Schneider are better than George the Nose!

In spite of being an Aussie, I will be following the New Zealand team as my first preference. Only ONE Canberra Raider made the Australian team, while there are four in the NZ team. That made up my mind who to follow!

This competition is so much stronger than previous years! Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji and Papua New Guinea are all good chances. Can't wait for the games to start.

Paul Hogan, many years ago told a joke that encapsulates George Williams neatly:

"How do you know when a planeload of Poms arrives at the airport? Easy, they cut the plane's engines but the whining keeps right on going!"

George just kept whining but didn't justify his existence in Canberra at ANY stage. Now that he's gone and the repercussions have died down, they are playing well.. I hope he NEVER gets another Visa to visit Oz! Sam Williams is twice the player and twice the man George will ever be.
