Throughout the off-season, Richard Marshall has overseen a pretty impressive recruitment drive at Halifax.
However, Fax have secured their biggest signing of the off-season – literally, by purchasing an unbelievable HD scoreboard for the 2016 season.
The incredible high definition TV screen, that will be the envy of most teams around the country, will make its first appearance at The MBi Shay when Halifax take on Whitehaven in their Championship opener this Sunday.
While also being used as a scoreboard, fans will be able to send messages that will be broadcast on the screen while it will also be used as a mode of advertising for local and national sponsors.
Halifax claim the screen will be developing as the season progresses, with an interactive text service planned so that fans can vote on their man of the match while a live action replay system is also under development so that instant replays will be available throughout the game.
