Jones-Bishop commits to Wakefield for 2017

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have announced that Ben Jones-Bishop has signed a contract extension until the end of next season.

Jones-Bishop joined the club ahead of the 2016 season on a one-year contract with the option of a further year – and the club have revealed that he has now penned a deal to see him remain in the red, white and blue jersey until the end of 2017.

The full-back, who has also featured on the wing under Chris Chester, has featured 20 times this season, scoring 11 tries ahead of the Super 8s.

Jones-Bishop has expressed his delight after signing the deal, saying: “I am really happy to continue my stay here at Wakefield. It has been an enjoyable year with the boys and I am looking forward to being a part of the clubs progression next season.”
