Lancaster heading for Hull FC exit

Hull FC are set to release youngster Callum Lancaster, according to League Express.

The talented 19-year-old has played only one Super League game for the Black and Whites this season, and Lee Radford has decided to allow the talented star to move on.

Lancaster burst onto the scene in 2014, when he scored eight tries in just five appearances. He subsequently signed a three-year deal with the club at the end of that year, but it is now set to be cut short by a year.

City of Hull Academy head coach Danny Wilson recently said that Lancaster has a ‘big future’ in the game.

“Callum Lancaster’s ability to finish is unquestionable and he’ll always give you that chance,” Wilson said.

“He came back to us at this level with a fantastic attitude, having played in the first team for Hull FC against Warrington on Easter Monday.”
