DELEGATES who attend the Castleford & Featherstone ARL’s monthly meetings are being presented with a match ball on each occasion.
The initiative is being significantly funded by the league’s long-term backer David Poulter – a former Chairman of Castleford RLFC – through his company D&J Poulter Building Contractors.
Chairman Phil Hodgson said: “We are extremely grateful to David for backing us in this way. We believe that encouraging clubs to come to meetings by way of offering a reward, rather than by fining them for not turning up, is the best way forward, and the notion has been well-received.”
