Rawsthorne looking to take inspiration from Connor’s success

Nick Rawsthorne is hoping to replicate the success of fellow Hull FC new boy Jake Connor after his early emergence on the Super League scene.

Connor, who has joined the Challenge Cup winners from Huddersfield, made his debut for the Giants at the age of 18 and has already made 48 Super League appearances.

Rawsthorne is one year younger than Connor, and he hopes he can enjoy similar success to that of his new teammate during his maiden season at Hull.

“Jake’s a year older than me and played a lot of Super League,” Rawsthorne told TotalRL.

“Especially last year, when I think he played 30 games. Seeing what he’s achieved makes me want to do similar this season. If I can get a few games under my belt early on and show what I can offer to the club, who knows what will happen from there.”
