Leeds Rhinos have been dealt another big injury blow after captain Danny McGuire was ruled out of this Friday’s televised clash against Hull FC.
McGuire has picked up a quad injury which rules him out of the game, with the Rhinos skipper becoming the latest name added to their injury list.
The Rhinos are without Ryan Hall (ankle), Tom Briscoe (shoulder), Joel Moon (groin), Adam Cuthbertson (elbow), Stevie Ward (knee), Josh Walters (ankle) and Brett Ferres (calf). Of the eight injured players, Cuthbertson and Ferres are likely to return to availability first in two weeks.
Young forward Cameron Smith has been drafted into the 19-man squad.
