The RLEF has issued the following short statement having been in direct contact with key personnel from the proposed ‘Euro XIIIs’ organising group earlier this week.
It states: “We held a positive meeting, enabling greater understanding of the respective plans and objectives for European club rugby league competition. Further dialogue will continue over the coming weeks. The RLEF will be making no further comment at this stage.”
