Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have confirmed the signing of Mason Caton-Brown on a two-year deal.
League Express revealed almost a month ago that the Salford winger was on his way to the Wildcats for next season, a deal that has now been confirmed by the club.
Caton-Brown started his professional career at London Broncos before going on dual-registration to Hemel Stags in 2013. After leaving the Broncos in 2014 the 23-year old signed for Salford on a two and a half year deal.
Head coach, Chris Chester spoke of the recent signing saying, “Mason will be a great addition to Wakefield, he is a quick and powerful player and I am looking forward to working with him next season.
“It is a great signing for us and it will give us fresh competition in the outside backs which is great for us as a club.”
Caton-Brown said, “I am excited for the new challenge at Wakefield, it is a great club. I am looking forward to working with Chris Chester and the team to build on the season they’ve had and to push myself further as a player.”
He becomes the second confirmed signing for the club ahead of 2017, following Batley’s Keegan Hirst.
