Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have bolstered their squad amidst a number of injuries at the club, after securing the signature of Salford’s George Griffin on a one-month loan deal.
Griffin, who has not featured for the Red Devils in 2015 yet, arrives on a deal that could see him make his debut for the club against Huddersfield Giants this Sunday.
With the likes of Ian Kirke and Lopini Paea – amongst others – on the sidelines, Griffin will provide welcome depth to coach James Webster’s squad over the next month.
“George has had plenty of experience in Super League at both London and Hull KR. He is able to play good minutes which will help us as we are extremely short of props leading into a busy Easter period,” said coach Webster.
