In a final with the best two sides on either side of the Pennines Kippax gave a good account of themselves throughout the game given that they were without eight of the players who were away on school trips to New Zealand and Australia. Hornets stand-off Joe Barnes was named man of the match.

Underdogs Siddal who have played their Under 15’s side in the competion, winning last years Under 14 Xamax BARLA National Cup came from behind to lead at half time and then collect the over a tough and resilient West Hull side 28-8 in the sunshine at the home of the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

SKIRLAUGH 42 THATTO HEATH CRUSADERS 28
Both Skirlaugh and Thatto Heath Crusaders served up a Xamax BARLA National Cup Under 18’s final classic in which all the players, coach’s should be proud of, to show that the talent is still out there and worthy of a chance still in the professional ranks.
Skirlaugh fullback Connah Noble was named man of the match.
