Briscoe was too busy thinking about how many yards he was going to make before playing the ball when he got tackled.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you don't need padded shorts if you are going for a ride that lasts less than an hour. Always wear the padded shorts.

Got into cycling last year, going to invest in a new bike in Spring, if I can get sign off from the Mrs.

The Venn diagram was invented by John Venn, born in Hull in 1834. He used to drink I Spiders, I believe.

Hull Tigers have a lot of fans at the moment as they are in the premiere league. As soon as they get relegated you will see the direct correlation in the number of Man Utd fans going up against Tigers fans going down.

#2982231 23/08/14 | Leeds Rhinos v Castleford Tigers | 3pm | Challenge Cup Final

Although I like Wembley, the Millennium is an amazing place to watch a game.

#2982061 Malcolm Reilly to present the cup

I lived in both Oakwood in 'North Leeds' and Bele Isle in South Leeds and I noticed no difference in accents.

#2974257 09/08/14 - CCSF1 - Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves KO 2.30pm

Bentham really is useless, can't make a decision for himself.

Are the comentators on a bonus for using the term 'rugby sevens' as much as possible?

#2958755 Is it true RFL moving to Media City ?

Posted by markleeds on 14 July 2014 - 07:58 AM

Surely better than behind a petrol station on the outskirts of Leeds.

#2955522 Tour De France - Yorkshire

Posted by markleeds on 06 July 2014 - 03:58 PM

It had been a great event, it's a shame the national BBC didn't really give it much coverage, no doubt that will change with stage 3 ending in London.

#2953818 RFL - We want you back email

Email marketing is the most successful marketing channel in terms of ROI. Good on the RFL for this.

#2945161 After the London Broncos?

They should keep London up, what value will Feathersrone or Leigh add on terms if geographical spread.

#2942477 And just as Zak was getting his act together

I am well as truely disgusted with homophobia and any other type of bigotry, but to drag it out like this makes no sense. Doing work with a charity like Stonewall will make him feel guilt and shame about what he did whilst receiving punishment with some value attached.

It doesn't matter who I support, what he did was stupid and he deserves what he get, but his punishing needs to have meaning beyond a ban.

#2931154 The Magic Weekend Match Thread

Posted by markleeds on 17 May 2014 - 08:23 PM

Great game, tough and hard, the high tackle on Peacock wasn't that bad, the reaction made it look much worse.

There will be a shortage of deep heat in Leeds and Wigan tomorrow.

#2930463 Joel Tomkins

Good luck to him, it just proves that playing for England is the only pull Union has, once that doesn't happen there is not much worth staying for.

I really do think Burgess will be back in RL within 12 months.
