He has met his contractual obligations nice and early.

Why can't people just be positive, go to Newcastle for the weekend and enjoy yourselves.

Maybe them the game will be taken serious by the media and people from outside the heartlands.

Jesus Christ!

So basically the 31 out of 100 people not clever enough to dodge someone doing a survey knows that there is 13 player in a RL team?

It's rare to be able to call that after only one post. Impressive going.

<<<<<<<<<< planetrugby {Union} is that way, fill your boots.

#3029577 Can we take any more disappointment?

Posted by markleeds on 08 November 2014 - 02:46 PM

We got robbed blind against Australia last week. It was always going to be a hard task to get their heads up and beat the Kiwis.

What annoys me is that we have no one to fight our corner, the media don't care, McNamara isn't going to say anything and the RFL are no where to be seen.

I believe we can do it, I am not bored of the club game but internationals will help grow the game, not another Wigan v Leeds match.

#3027944 Brian Barwick's other job

RL needs a marketing/PR expert who is at the top of their game in charge. Berwick comes across as a networker with a few connections that are of no real use. I have connections with some big hitters on LinkedIn but I could never use them to further my career.

#3026638 2015 Australian season start?

Maybe they are still deciding whom is going to win

#3025551 02/11/14 - Australia v England KO 5am (GMT)

Stop blaming refs. We had a chance to win and blew it. They were for the taking and again we couldnt finish it off. One of the reasons why i cant stand football is when managers blame officals rather than their own players. " the ref was awful that was a definite pen" rather than "our striker missed ten chances today" the main point of the game for me was when Burgess dropped the ball after the 2nd tackle and when burgess passed when he was 5 ft from the line.

It's was stripped, you can't tell it was as there was not one replay. The cheating tw@t5 are in it together.

Scrum disintegrated? That's because the England packed destroyed the Aussie pack!

Been given orders not to shout at the TV. If England score a try I don't I can imagine it will be a frosty morning once the Mrs gets up. Could be a breakfast in bed job!!

#3023311 Transport

Posted by markleeds on 31 October 2014 - 09:11 AM

I agree, but i cannot see how it begins, nevermind actually happens.

People cannot/wont use public transport as it is rubbish. People can't cycle on the roads safely as there arent any cycle lanes. It also rains a lot, so why should i.

I don't get taxis - why should they be allowed in bus lanes?

The only interim solution i have is to allow people to work from home more often - this is where we can easily change our way of thinking.

Companies allowing staff to work from home would require them to give up years of confusing attendance with efficiency. Many business owners are too paranoid that the member of staff working from home would take too long lunch, start late or finish early. They would rather them be in the office even if they are just marking time whilst messing around on Facebook.

#3019021 George Burgess (merged threads)

What a sorry state RU must be in that they cannot produce players, given all the financial advantages they have. Imagine being a young man, brought up playing RU from a kid, through the Academies and National set ups to see your career put on hold whilst a bloke who has never played the game takes up a big chunk of income and your potential shirt.

Funny that this view is never taken in the pro Union sports pages!!
