A bit childish imo, Raiders dispute is personal with Andy! not the NW Crusaders so they should not be doing this as it affects the Welsh club more. As soss says above looks petty to anyone looking on from the outside.
A great win against an in form team. There were some bodies and passion on the line out there today for everyone to see today, and thankfully not a single one of them was from our secondary support club.
They were our lads, playing for our club and our shirt! and boy it showed through in the end,
Ratboy, they are both good players and have done well for us in some previous games but I think we'll have to wait and see. Where or from who, are you getting this info? because last time Adam Lawton was supposed to be playing for us against Whitehaven and he wasn't even at the ground.
I can't make the game this week (gutted), I will be on the opposite side of the country all dolled up in a suit!
I agree with the comments above and see Worky' as being a team similar to us at the moment. We have all the ability to win this one and on a good day win it well but I will go for a 28 -14 win for the Cru.
Have a great game and safe trip everyone going up on Sunday.
But then i found out 1 of our officials had to go to Red Hall over it in the week, its irrelevant how many chant if the player cant handle that he would last no more than 5 mins playing amateur rugby
Strange that!!! considering he's played amateur all his life until joining the NWC!
Please stop grasping at straws to deflect away from the true topic, that being some of your fans let your club down. This has happened at other clubs and no doubt will happen again and again, some times worse than others but that's how it goes.
Don't get me wrong I'm no angel and the odd expletive does slip out mostly in frustration, but to continuously chant and swear, as has been witnessed and reported especially after being repeatedly asked to stop over the tanoy system, just can't be condoned by anyone and has rightly been condemned by your own Fev fans.
As for Jono I'm sure that the management team at NWC will look at the matter and do what is necessary.
Move on mate and let them that are dealing with it do their job and sort it.
is the weather that bad? Quite rare for rain to call games off nowadays. Wasn't someone raving about Leigh's pitch last week on here?
^^^^Jumped in the water with two feet a bit early there then . Weather has been bloody awful all week then yesterdays thunder, rain and hail storms and on top of that constant rain this morning seems to have put pay to most fixtures today.
At least the Leigh v Cru game was called off early enough to save people traveling, hope everyone else was as lucky.
Not quite so hilarious when you take time to read the info available.!
Just for the facilities that the Cru' used and had to pay for last year they would be foolish not to accept this year through a link up with Widnes. Put on top of that the possibility of having some players available in what is going to be a long tough 1st season in the Champ this could be critical for us with re-structuring etc going on. As a club with only 2 seasons of life behind them this will lift some of the financial burden that even established clubs are suffering. I think there is an old saying that goes something like 'Principles do not put bread on the table', and I for one would rather watch a stable club than have to worry were the next few hundred quid was coming from.
TBH, I was at OT yesterday and commented to my companion that it was a disgrace that a professional sporting venue had a sloping end to the playing surface. I can personal comment on this because after over 20 years I am still troubled by an injury caused by such a situation. I jumped for a ball and landed with one foot on the slope, this caused severe ligament damage and now I still have to be careful about how and where I place my right foot when out walking .
So to all who think this is a nit picking thread I suggest you actually talk to someone who has gone through the initial injury and then had to live with it before saying "oh its ok no one has complained before", because that is a pathetic reply. People playing on a surface deserve to leave the place un-injured, a simple (HASaWA) risk assessment should have highlighted this situation and measures put in place to protect the 'employee's' on the field of play yesterday.

My head is finally getting back to normal today after 1 or 2 shandies after the game.
I would like to thank all the poster's on this thread for their gracious praise of our emerging club. The people who have taken the time to come and watch our team and meet our supporters have mostly taken us for what we are, a friendly and passion bunch of people who want to see RL grow and thrive in Wrexham and the whole of North Wales.
The growth of our club has been Roy of the Rovers stuff, we are 'North Wales Crusaders' and are 22 months old!!!!.
I'm looking forward to meeting fans from new clubs next year both on the road and at home, I am under no illusion that it's going to be a tough season up in the Championship but all we can do is our best and keep this club heading in the right direction.
