Hi Andy, We will hopefully have some news soon.
  2. Do something amazing

    Give Blood:
  3. Fancy winning VIP tickets to the challenge Cup Final? What about £1000 for your local community club? Simply go to or and post your story of how you got into the game of Rugby League, or your fondest memory and you could be in with a chance. You can also post it through your own Facebook or Twitter using #TetleysPassItOn Don't forget to mention your local club! Already Thornhill Trojans have won £1000 for their club and the more local folk entering this the better it is for the local clubs, where £1000 makes a significant difference. So what you waiting for? Spill your memory and who knows - You might be entering Wembley this summer through the VIP entrance Best of luck!
  4. Footage v North Wales

Provided as usual by our media guru Ben Harvey. Enjoy
  5. Scott ruled out for rest of season

SCOTT RULED OUT FOR REST OF SEASON The club and player have now received a full assessment of the knee injury sustained by Greg Scott during the recent away win at Barrow and it is bad new for both parties. Unfortunately the scan showed Greg had suffered damage to his cruciate ligament in his knee. This will now require surgery and a full reconstruction which obviously will rule him out for the remainder of the season. Greg had become a regular member of the Ram’s starting 17 over the last two season and in 2014 he had made a total of thirteen appearances scoring seven tries. Greg joins Aaron Brown on the list of long term absentees for this season.
  6. Stadium developments

Hi Rambo, A decision on the housing and community facility development is due second half of June at the moment but thee is always the likelihood of it taking longer than planned, rest assured however, once a decision has been made it will be publicised. The steel is mainly for the new external fence. Work has already started - scoreboard demolished, hardcore going down, areas levelled off. We plan to start installing new upright supports next week hopefully. Since the new fence is closer to the terracing than the old one, the old one will remain in place with until the new build is complete. South Stand improvements to block off part of one end to reduce the wind tunnel effect has started as people will have seen. Hope this answers your question.
  7. A Weekend of Sport in Dewsbury

In what is arguably one of the biggest sporting weekends in Dewsbury in a long time: Saturday night sees Dewsbury boxer Gary Sykes take to the ring to fight for the British Super Feather Weight title. Sunday we play Halifax at the Tetley's stadium with a 3pm Kick Off. It is a huge weekend of sport in Dewsbury and a great opportunity for our town to be on the map for positive reasons.
  8. International support

Legendary boxer Tim Witherspoon (Former heavy weight world champion) gives his regards to the Dewsbury Rams.
  9. Players

From time to time players go out on loan, or join us and occasionally leave. Updates on player movements will be posted within this thread. Shaun Robinson has gone on a month’s loan to Rochdale Hornets to get him some game time in the Championship. He remains very much a part of our squad but we need to make sure he is match fit when needed.

  11. A few days in numbers

I have just been going through a few figures on the social media side of things and comparing our usual trend with the last few days. Some of you may be interested to see what an effect social media wise the game against Wigan has had. So below are a few facts: In the last 5 days on Facebook: 45,000 people have visited our Facebook page, compared to an average 3000 in a usual week. Through shares and likes of content that has been posted on Facebook we have engaged 12,000 people. We have had 709 people ‘like’ our content. 201 people have commented on our content. In the last 2 days on Twitter: We have gained around 100 new followers – This equates to about a 4% increase overall (its brilliant) Our content has been re-tweeted hundreds of times giving us exposure across thousands (possibly tens of thousands) of accounts. We have received messages of support from as far away as Chile (South America) and even from our friends across the valley – Batley Bulldogs, as well as literally hundreds of supporters from across the game. Media Wise: We have featured on BBC Look North and Glenn and the players have undertaken interviews for a myriad of regional broadcasters. Including BBC Sport and the national BBC Sport website. The Guardian and various other broadsheets have featured us, as well as all the local newspapers and rugby league publications. So there you have it - You probably expected a huge increase in interest - But that's it in numbers
