Aaron Woods wants a crack at Super League

Australia and Wests Tigers prop Aaron Woods has admitted he would love to chance his arm in Super League one day – after growing up watching the competition as a youngster.

Woods has become a star of the Australian pack during the Four Nations tournament, with the 23-year-old earning rave reviews for his performances throughout the competition.

And he revealed that having grown up watching the once-dominant Bradford Bulls as a child, he’s hoping to get the opportunity to come over and test his arm in Super League before the end of his career.

“Definitely, I would really love to go over there. Hopefully, at one stage I will get over there,” he told the Daily Star.

“I watch Super League quite a lot because we get it on ESPN and I grew up watching Bradford Bulls.

“Back in the day they had a really good side with Lesley Vainikolo and the Paul brothers.”
