Castleford Tigers coach Daryl Powell has revealed that prop Ryan Bailey looks set to make his debut for the club against Catalans Dragons this Sunday.
Bailey signed for the Tigers earlier this month, but didn’t make the squad for their game against Salford Red Devils last weekend, a game the Tigers won.
However, the former Leeds prop is coming into contention to feature this Sunday, with Powell insisting that he’s settled into life at the club well.
“There’s a strong chance that Ryan Bailey will also be involved this week,” Powell told local media in Castleford.
“He’s looked good in training and fitness wise he’s handled it okay.
“He’s getting used to our plays and our calls. Obviously he’s not been on the field yet and we’ll get an opportunity to see that at the weekend.”
