Ben Barba has been named the Super League Man of Steel.
The 29-year-old set the competition alight at the start of the season and was named the competition’s best player by his peers, making him the sixth Australia to win the award.
Barba saw off competition from team-mate James Roby and John Bateman, capping off his stay in Super League as he heads back to the NRL next season.
Meanwhile, Georgia Roche wrote her name into the history books as Castleford’s 17-year-old became the inaugural Woman of Steel.
Shaun Wane was named coach of the year ahead of his departure from Wigan while Castleford’s Jacob Trueman was named young player of the year.
