Halifax have signed half-back Ben White on a one-year deal after a spell playing in Australia with Berkeley Eagles.
The former Leeds Rhino and Swinton Lion, who has been named in the recent German international squad, was nominated for the League 1 Young Player of the Year in his debut year with Swinton.
“After speaking to Richard Marshall and hearing about the direction the club are heading, it was a no brainer to sign for the club,” said White.
“The club have played some good rugby and have been serious contenders in the Championship over the past few years.”
“I’m looking forward to meeting the lads and hopefully adding to the success they’ve had over the past few seasons.”
