Bradford Bulls have announced their pre-season schedule.
The Odsal club will travel to Glen Morrison’s Dewsbury Rams on Sunday January 19 (3.00pm KO) before hosting Castleford a fortnight later on February 2 (also 3.00pm).
Francis Cummins believes the two matches offer ideal preparation for the new season.
“The two friendlies give us a perfect opportunity to test the players’ strength, fitness and all round ability,” he said.
“It is difficult to say who will feature at this stage as that will more than likely depend on how pre-season training goes from now until then.
“But one thing is for sure, it offers the players – both old and new – a chance to prove themselves.
“By the time we get to January the whole squad will have been training together for pretty much a month, so the timing of the Dewsbury game will be perfect with the Castleford game coming nearer to the start of the season.”
