Kieron Cunningham has left halfback Travis Burns out of his 19-man squad for a second week running.
The experienced halfback was a surprise exclusion in last week’s victory over Huddersfield, with Cunningham telling the St Helens Star that “he knows what he needs to do.”
But he clearly hasn’t impressed Cunningham enough to earn a spot despite being without James Roby for the match against Salford.
New signing Dominique Peyroux also misses out with a knock.
Morgan Knowles and Calvin Wellington have been called up to replace Roby and Peyroux.
