THE date has been confirmed for the first round ties in the Castleford & Featherstone ARL’s David Poulter Open Cup.
Games will be played on Saturday 28 November.
Ties are: Allerton Bywater v Cutsyke Raiders; Brotherton Bulldogs v Lock Lane; Featherstone Lions v Fryston Warriors; Sherburn Bears v Methley Royals.
First round losers are scheduled to contest the Edgar Hanson Invitation Cup. However, as Featherstone Lions and Lock Lane have conceded their ties, the League Committee has elected to also include the two beaten Open Cup semi-finalists in the Invitation Cup, to ensure that four sides are involved in the secondary competition.
