Featherstone Rovers coach John Bastian says there will be no more departures from his squad, after Liam Finn, Jonny Hepworth and Lamont Bryan all left last week.
Finn and Bryan were allowed to leave, with the scrum-half quickly joining Castleford, while Hepworth was forced to retire because of a persistent back injury.
But Bastian already had a significant squad for 2013, and says he is now happy with what he is working with.
He said: “We wish all of those players all the very best for the future.
“We’re happy with what we’ve got now and we’re pretty settled.
“There won’t be any more changes.
“It’s a nice, well-balanced squad that has some depth to it ahead of a long season.”
Former Castleford utility player Hepworth believes that he will leave the club in a strong state.
“I’ve been fortunate in my rugby career to play for some great clubs and experience some great moments, and I include Featherstone Rovers in that,” Hepworth said.
“For 13 years I enjoyed a career that was virtually injury free. But unfortunately I have been suffering with a disc problem in my back, which has meant I have found things more difficult than I am used to.
“This is particularly tough as a part-time player with a full-time job during the day.
“Featherstone Rovers are a great club and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club.
“Rovers are really going places with the ground redevelopments taking shape, and the Centre of Excellence is an excellent facility.”
Bastian, meanwhile, was also keen to pay tribute to the work being done by head of youth Robin Sharp.
Bastian said: “The work that he has been doing has been a big plus.
“He’s working on a part-time basis and has only been here for a short period of time, but he’s been doing a fantastic job.
“We are certainly going in a really positive direction at the moment and I expect that to continue as we improve and develop.
“The club got a pretty poor mark at the last audit, but we’ve had a meeting with Dave Rotheram from the RFL recently and we’re progressing in the right direction.”
