After the conclusion of the regular season in the Kingstone Press Championship and Championship One, the scheduling for the first week of the play-offs has been confirmed.
And there is an amazing repeat of last year’s Championship Grand Final in the first week of the play-offs, with defending champions Sheffield looking to keep their season alive by beating Batley – with the loser seeing their season come to an end. Table-topping Leigh face Doncaster, whilst Featherstone play Halifax – the losers of those games get another chance, whilst the winners get the week off. The other do-or-die game sees Dewsbury face Workington.
In Championship One, minor premiers York get the week off, whilst the elimination play-off sees Gateshead and Hemel do battle. Hunslet face Oldham in a trans-Pennine play-off clash, with the loser getting another life in week two.
