Former Great Britain star Garry Schofield believes Leigh Centurions coach Paul Rowley should be in the running to replace outgoing Nathan Brown at St Helens.
In his latest League Express column, the Leeds-born pundit mentions the Championship Grand Finals day last week and heaps praise on the Centurions.
“As for Leigh, what a phenomenal year they have enjoyed,” he said.
“I don’t hesitate in suggesting that their coach Paul Rowley should be considered for the St Helens job.”
