Cordner reportedly out for three months through injury

World XIII member Boyd Cordner is set to miss three months of the NRL season with a pectoral injury.

The second-row, who only signed a new deal with Sydney Roosters this week, has reportedly disclosed news of his injury to Australian media.

It is understood that he suffered the injury in training, although the club has yet to confirm this.

Cordner’s absence would be another blow for the Roosters following the scandal surrounding Mitchell Pearce, who has been suspended indefinitely due to his actions caught on video.
